                Wolfschanze 1944: The Final Attempt

Wolfschanze 1944 (Wolf's Rampart) is the FPP/TPP action game localized in WW2 reality.

The story is inspired with the actual events. Adventures are similar in some way to life of German hero – count Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg. He was a man who in 1944 decided to take dramatic effort to stop nazi war machine in order to save millions human beings.

With the group of the highest-ranking officers Stauffenberg is preparing an assassination on a man whose pushing German towards the war - Hitler.

The game begins on the day of the attempt. You start in front of the bunker. You may talk to the guards, who give you tips on what to do next. You proceed to meet your aide-de-camp. He is very agitated and after a short talk gives you a briefcase with a bomb inside. You proceed to the staff meeting, where Hitler confers with officers of the highest rank.  You perceive that the situation is serious. Hitler is enraged, he does not accept the possibility of retreat, although the troops suffer heavy losses at the eastern front. You exit, leaving the briefcase with the explosives behind. An explosion takes place …

As the game progresses, you fight on board a huge airship as well as on a speeding train. You have the opportunity to ride a motorcycle and drive a tank. During the game you get fire support from your computer-generated assistants. You will also encounter dogs, which help eagerly in return for a sausage. You may talk to the characters you meet, bearing in mind that some of them are friendly but some may prove to be hostile. The game abounds in unexpected plot twists.

The game Idea:

The game
takes place during World War II in occupied Poland and in Germany. The majority of locations are based on actual places. The appearance and parameters of weapons are imitated as accurately as possible.

The very idea of a “hunt” for Hitler, one of the greatest villains in
world history, appeared unexpectedly. The fact that the circumstances of Hitler’s death are shrouded in mystery was undoubtedly conducive to the decision to start realizing this project. He has no known grave, after the war it was sought in Southern America. The events of that period still provoke extreme emotions. Altogether, it creates an excellent, fascinating game material.

The story in based on fact, however, as the game is fictionalized, the plot might differ slightly from the account of these events presented in history books. The storyline is well-prepared, interesting and coherent.

Gameplay:
The game’s excellent gameplay is undoubtedly its great advantage. Fighting your enemies is truly interesting, as they adapt their tactics to the circumstances. For example, if the player uses an mg42, a machine gun not accurate at long distances, the enemies will avoid getting close. On the other hand, if you are using a sniper rifle, expect an attack on
your position while reloading your weapon. Your adversaries take full advantage of natural obstacles and terrain characteristics. In standby mode, they will occupy themselves with a variety of activities, e.g. playing cards, chatting, but will be ready to fight when alarmed. Moreover, be prepared for deadly ambushes and try to avoid them.
